Retouching and Color Correction
Whereas compositing was more in demand earlier in my career, the last 10 years have focused more on color correction and image optimization from RAW files to bring out the best in the given photography — and it is always a welcome challenge. Campaigns for Thrive Pet Healthcare (formerly Pathway) and Buddig lunch meats as well as some spec shoots for Shisedo cosmetics and Bell's Beer have been exceptionally fun and challenging. Starting with outstanding photography makes my job so much easier.
Other client work includes color correction and compositing for Lyfe, Jim Beam Brands (Jim Beam, Red Stag, Hornitos, Beam Black, Devil's Cut, and DeKuyper), Four Winds Casino Resort, Culver's, and General Growth Properties.
Before and after, a few of the 100 shots from the Pathway/Thrive rebranding campaign retouching, aided in large part by the outstanding leadership and organization of digital producer Allison Ardolino.

We did an on-site photoshoot in the Fusion92 studio for Pathway Vet Clinics featuring many of our staff's own pets — Brindle, Remy, Toast, Lady, Beefy, Barbie, Jerry, Hershey, Chaos, Parker and Molly were just some of the featured guests. This whole shoot was so much fun to retouch and clip out, and the client loved the results. Photography: Erin Gabriel
